Special Notes About Care of The Morphing Cube

Keep this sculpture away from little kids and undisciplined individuals.

This sculpture contains rotating bearings within some of the pieces. These bearing can be damaged by excessive force.

In general always rotate the pieces in 90 degree increments. Use a flat surface to maintain the proper geometry. The pieces will scar each other when rotated if you don't maintain the 90 degree geometry.

The rotation should be fairly easy; it's a friction fit so a slow and steady speed will prevent any undue strain on the mounting bolts that hold the rotating bearings in position.

You can damage the pieces by forcing rotation of one segment into another segment on any single morphing piece.

DO NOT USE OIL ON THE BEARINGS AS THEY ARE GREASED AND SEALED.

Store and display in a dry area. Water may damage the bearings so if the puzzle gets wet, Immediately take it apart and dry the pieces off! I suggest a quick dip in paint thinner (or some similar solvent) for the affected pieces and then dry them off again.
