Closeup of Hidden Cube Piece:

This is the 1" cube of solid 99.9% Silver bullion. It weighs approximately 5 1/2 troy ounces. We also offer sculptures with a second hidden cube made out of approximately 10 troy ounces of solid 99.9% GOLD bullion! (You decide which one you want to display the sculpture with!)

Additional Central Cube - Conundrum Series
Must Accompany a Sculpture Order

Precious Metal Investment Possibilities!
On the basis of metal values alone, silver would have to skyrocket before the melt value of the central cube pictured above would pay for the entire sculpture. On the other hand, if gold ever returns to its inflation adjusted January, 1980 high of $1,950.00, the central cube of 99% pure gold would be worth over $19,000.00

Optional Hidden Gift Box:

As an interesting option, we've made this 2 piece copper box that you can use as the central puzzle piece instead of the hidden silver or gold cube piece. It would make for an unusual presentation of some small object such as a ring; the cover fits on top of the base and is locked in place when the sculpture is fully assembled (The Conundrum is actually quite easy to take apart). You decide what to hide inside!

Later this year, I will be delivering the first revision of The Conundrum. The size and outward appearance are similar, but to make it more interesting, I've expanded on the number of pieces and the variation of different metals used in the sculpture. As a puzzle, the process of assembly is much more difficult......... To see my other works and or monitor my progress go to Maxton's Art Gallery and bookmark the page.
