Flowers in February?
How about metal flowers, and
bouquets of rusty railroad spikes?
Metal Flower-making Demonstration
11 February 2012 Saturday
12-3 p.m.
The delicacy of a rose captured in steel by men of iron wielding fire and hammers.
Internationally renowned blacksmiths Scott Lankton and Jim Roth
are teaming up for a red hot metal flower demonstration. Please join us
at METAL to witness the skill, vision (and unceasing humor), that goes
into the formation of an everlasting bloom.
Metal
roses will, of course, be available for purchase. You can pick up the
longest lasting rose around (and watch yours be hand forged by our
burnished duo), and garnish it with some greenery and additional florals from Pot&Box.
Blacksmith's Credo:
"I like a rose that you can clock the guy with if he gets out of line." _____________________________________ Looking for the anti-anti Valentines Day experience?
